Astrolchemy is a revamp of Astrology made for my webnovel, True Story. Just like Astrology, there are 12 different signs that affect your personality and identity. However, unlike Astrology, these signs aren’t determined by birth.

Instead Astrolchemy is a character analysis tool. Rather than just looking at birthdate, determining your own or a fictional character’s sign is a matter of educated opinion.

The Suite *☆

Within the world of True Story, all of Astrolchemy fits within a standard deck of 52 cards. Each sign get's it's own number, starting from Ace with the Hermit and ending at the Queen with the Reaper. King's are totally left out of the equation cuz they're overrated.

The suit of the card affects what it represents!

Black cards tend to be more selfish and self orientated. ♠Spade suits are rebellious and rude, while ♣Club suits are humble and strong,

Red cards are more selfless and focus on others. ♦Diamond suits are elegant and intelligent, while ♥Heart suits are empathetic and idealist.

Sub+signs *☆

The 12 signs each have 2 distinctive states, a selfless red state and a selfish black state. Selfish signs aren't all bad, and selfless signs aren't all good. Having a black sub+sign means that your sign affects yourself primarily, while having a red sign means your sign affects others primarily.

your sub+sign adds more detail to your main one. Here's a list of every sub+sign.

Powers *☆

You can make your own magical abilities with the signs! This is called your skill card, and it's separate from your main one.

Each sign's powers are different depending on weather they're a main sign, a red sign, or a black sign. You can make an ability by taking a main sign and attaching it to any sub+sign you want.

For example: The Caster sign allows you to control whatever your sub+sign is. You can apply this to the Clock sub+sign, which represents time, to create a skill card that allows you to control time.
